Half-day Penang!!

25th July 2011, dawn.
Biting a muffin while rushing out the apartment,
pick up the headset and backpack,
get ready to fly at 7:45am in a Monday morning.
On the other hand, I invited my eldest sis for this joy ride! Although I'm not the pilot-in-command, but I'm happy enough that I could bring sis along for a flight like this to Penang!
I get to fly on the TB-20 again as a co-pilot, this time, we are going to Penang again!! In fact, it's just a half-day trip, me and eldest sis do not really plan for many things to do.

Landed on the island as per flight plan with no delay, met sis J, and started with the still-warm yam cake from mum!
After some discussion, we head to one of the famous Hokkien Mee which is situated at Perak Road! Very little portion of noodles, the best is the soup! OMG! I couldn't remember when was the last time I have Hokkien Mee. It tastes great! The smell of the prawn paste soup! Oh dear! I want that for my breakfast everyday!

That was our brunch, yet is still early, but we are craving for Penang famous Cendol already! Due to the difficulty of finding a car park at that area, J decided to drop us and wait until we finish the dessert. Me and M jump out the car and walk towards the stall, order one cendol; spoon by spoon, we finish it in 3 minutes!

80% fully stock in our stomach, now it's time for a cup of coffee in Logan Heritage. Arrive in this coffee house called LightHouse Coffee. As usual, I'm caffein-intolerant, instead of more uncomfortable feeling during my return flight later, I take the Mango yogurt smoothies. It's refreshing and cooling! Chit-chat for more than an hour, love the heritage building built with ancient bricks.

I do miss laksa a lot too! Heard from "someone" that there's a stall near Penang Jetty which is pretty good. So we head to that direction, in the same kopidiam, besides selling laksa there is also Apom, Ais Kacang and Char Kuey Tiao. The laksa is disappointing, not that great. However, it tastes HOME! Surprisingly, the Ais kacang is gooooood!

Next, we do need a small walk in a mall. Arrive in 1st Avenue, I have not been there since it opened so I guess why not?! Not much shops and there are about roughly 65% occupancy, we take a quick glance around the mall and "digest" the food a little...

Last on our list! Char Kuey Tiao! Heard that's a famous CKT near Anson Road, along Anson Road situated at the Lebuh Siam. A kopitiam with no stall, the CKT stall is actually at the road side. Order from there and a guy will bring it to you in the kopidiam across the road. Interesting right?! Three plates of hot Char Kuey Tiao are delivered to our table. Hmmm....smell and look great! Another OMG! The CKT tastes delicious!! Superb!!!
I will definitely go again next time when I'm in Penang!

4pm, my captain called and it's time to head back to Subang.
Flying 7000ft above mean sea level, the weather is good, as well as our mood and satisfied stomach! Love this kind of trip! Not rush, also tasted lots of good food!
We should do that again Mr.Lim, and thanks for letting me to be your co-pilot!
Penang is always nice! We sisters had a great time together!
See you again!

Harry Potter the eight fantasy films

Harry Potter the whole series of fantasies has come to the end.

From the first Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in 2001 until the last episode, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Each episode happened in different year, it's like a journey of life.
10 years of journey.

If I'm not mistaken, I watched all the 8 movies in the cinema. Included in Macau old movie theater for HP and the Goblet of Fire!
It does bring me lots of memory!

Even though I hardly remember how was episode 1, 2, and 3....
But I would still go for the next show once it came out, it was like a MUST follow story.
In fact, I am still very blur with the story; until the last movie HP and the Deathly Hallows Part II. After I finished watching that movie I was like "ohhhhhhhh..."
It suddenly connected! "clicked"

Here's the flash back from The Magic Begin until it Ends.

Where's the Justice?

Spoke to Andrew yesterday for about 30 minutes, he is doing perfectly fine with his job now.
Good for him.

Called a flight ops personnel in the afternoon after meeting with Andrew, got those bull-shxt excuses and nonsense reasons again.

Driving home yesterday, there was no jam, smooth traffic. I was speeding with my bad mood, I have no idea what song I was listening to which was setting my sad mood one level up.

Stuck in the traffic jam this morning due to a number of road blocks around Selangor, missed the exit, because was planning to make a U-turn back home.

There's a protest going on this week, I do not know whether the road blocks were set due to this protest. The police just blocked the road and made checks on drivers.
I believe 80% people were late for work.

I do not really understand why there is a protest and why there are road blocks everywhere.
In reality, get stuck in a traffic jam you would feel immediate anger and wasting life. Missed an exit, there would be no turning back, the other will give you dirty look if you suddenly cut into other lane.

That is exactly how my life looks, fulled of jam, here and there. The only difference is it happens slowly, like a slow motion traffic.

You asked to me wait... and I waited... for a long time...

You said you would help me... and I waited... but you had left...

You said I have to be patient... and I waited... but I do not get any reply...

You told me there is hope and it is getting better... and I waited... since the moment I'd waited...

But...

Where is it?

...?

......?

I was born 22 years ago, I am born to live happily and peacefully.
This is what a life is meant for, to be meaningful, to do what is making it all colourful.

But I am not happy, I have only those good old days memories, I don't know why am I doing here facing these useless superiors.
It would be happier volunteering for the poor and children.

Sometimes I wonder how could those people came out deciding to jump down from a building?
They must be having the baddest life.

Life is full of lies and unfairness, just the matter of how a person handle these.

A great time gossiping with chilly weather!

First week of July, went back home in the weekend, luckily I have great friends who are willing to pick me up from the airport!

4 of us, went to a wonderful dinner after I landed. Hmm.... It was a Saturday night, and WE, of course, not going back home that EARLY!? So, we went for second round, Kopi Cine!

It's not Saturday if there's no alcohol! Instead of ordering few rounds of expensive beer, why not a bottle of wine?!

A bottle of Australian Chardonnay... Lovely...

Kopi Cine is a cafe, opened by Australian if I'm not mistaken; served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their specialty is Gula Melaka homemade ice-cream! Very sweet!
On the other hand, every each of the tables has clipped with a mahjong paper and a cup full of colourful crayons.

Louis was trying very hard to picture his fantastic view from Redang, anyway, the drawing looks quite fantastic too!

See this Yoke is getting excited on his interesting "topic"!

Had a great time catching up with friends! We should do it more often!
Yeeehah!
