"Bed 6A wont be able to eat for 4 hours", "what's the BP this morning?", "check the patient medical history", "Patient 8E will be prep for surgery in one hour", conversations between nurses in level 3. The sound of people coughing, sniffing, brisk walking... This is the hospital. Full of tense environment and frightful surroundings.
I spent a 29 hours staying in the hospital, my ward has no entertainment no tv, nothing! My activities during 29 hours besides in the OR were, walked from my bed to the wash room then back to my bed, listened to my iPod and talked on the phone. Nurse came to me approximately every 4 hours to check my blood pressure and temperature. The rest of the time, I was just lying down on my bed and looked at the ceiling. I was so bored!
Picture below is my dinner after the surgery... The food was not bad and big portion, I could only finish half of it!
First time stayed overnight in the hospital was a little creepy, people come and go, die and born. Saw families crying, hugging for joy or something else... For me, it is never a good place to stay! It's too emotional to be at! Though it was a good experience to be there once in a life time, of course I wont wish to go back again! So, all I can do is maintain my health and get better for my own good!
Now, I'm back at home enjoying tv and playing guitar! Ahhhhhh.....it's always good to be back home!! =)
