I volunteered to drive from BW to TPH, then changed shift and J continued until to KL. It took us 4 hours to arrived without speeding! When on the way to Ipoh, there's a banner on the hill which is something like the Hollywood sign, written IPOH. Then I spoke surprisingly, "Wow! Malaysians starts copying the Hollywood now!". After J heard that, she laughed and replied, "It's there for years already, didn't you notice that?".
I think I've been taking flights down to KL recently, so I couldn't see that from the top; also, this was my first time driving on the North-South highway too. Hahahaha....
Of course, this trip's visit to the 'Pet' house wasn't being explained clearly, the pet family didn't know about my early arrival and the appearance of a bunch of food cooked by mum. P was happy to see both of us with all the wonderful surprises! So did the kids! We all indeed had a good time in KL! We did and went to the usuals: Lok Lok, IOI, movie, cheese cake, shopping, and eat porridge which P will cook no matter who visits!
It was a 4-day trip, we went to IKEA on the last day before departed back to PG. We had lunch there, meatballs is a must for me every time I go to IKEA. I remember the first time I tasted the Swedish meatballs which was in Germany in 2004. M brought me to IKEA, but I couldn't be sure where's the IKEA that I went?!! However, I remembered that we bought one pack of Swedish meatballs back home, it's a perfect match with homemade pasta! In fact, the typical Swedish style is served with gravy, potatoes and berry jam! Oww... delicious!!
